rachuba explain [--pay-date YYYY-MM-DD] [--gross AMOUNT] [--json]

Prints Worksheet 1A of the year's Publication 15-T for one prospective paycheck, line by line: 1a taxable wages for the period through 1i the adjusted annual wage amount, the bracket's floor, base tax and rate (2b to 2d), 2e to 2h the tentative withholding, 3a to 3c the Step 3 credits, and 4a and 4b the extra withholding and the federal income tax to withhold. It records nothing.

• --pay-date: defaults to today; its year selects the tables.
• --gross: replaces the configured gross for this period.

Taxable wages are the gross less the configured pre-tax deferral. Unlike rachuba run, the deferral here is not held under the year's remaining room. With --json: worksheet, publication, source and every line under lines.
