rachuba deposited --pay-date YYYY-MM-DD [--on YYYY-MM-DD] [--json]

Writes the deposit date into the ledger entry of the run paid on --pay-date. --on is the day the money went through EFTPS, default today. Recording again replaces the date.

Recorded EFTPS deposit of <amount> on <date>.

When --on is after the due date the deposit schedule gives (see due dates), it is still recorded and a second line follows:

LATE  This deposit was due <date>. Expect a failure-to-deposit penalty.

With --json: recorded ("deposit"), pay_date, amount, on, due, late and ledger.

Refusals

Exit 1, nothing written:

no recorded run with pay date <date>

And the ledger and configuration refusals on configuration.
